The Philly Freshman Showcase is a two part event featuring an individual showcase and elite team tournament. The Philly Freshman Showcase attracts lacrosse's most elite young talent and most complete collection of college recruiters.

200 of North America's most talented freshmen are selected from to compete in front of college coaches.
Players will arrive to prepare for the day of competition. Upon checking-in at Showcase Headquarters, athletes will receive:
Players are slotted into 12 teams and coached by national esteemed high school coaches.
All teams will be provided with 30 minutes of practice and warm-up time to become familiar with teammates and prepare for competition.
All teams will play three 55-minute games. Exact schedule will vary based on start time. Generally, teams will have a one-game break between each game
Players are broken into equal pods. Face-off competitions are bracketed to determine pod winners, a final four, and the eventual King of the X. Over 50 college coaches watched freshmen compete in 2014. Last year's champion was Joe Neumann (Johns Hopkins).
The highly coveted group of Fab 40 All-Stars will be announced at prime location. Selections are based on Showcase's All-Star committee representatives.
Fab 40 All-Star selection lists will be printed and e-mailed to college coaches. All players will hold a place in Showcase's web archival for future reference.
All players selected to the Fab 40 All-Star group will play in one 45-minute game amongst the best of the best players in North America. Historically, Fab 40 All-Star games have been the source of many success stories. The Fab 40 All-Start game is the headline event for college coaches seeking top talent.
22 of North America's most elite club teams are hand selected to compete in tournament style.
Club directors will report to tournament headquarters to confirm their team's arrival and receive event credentials.
Teams are guaranteed 3 games. Games will be 55-minutes long, consisting of 25-minute running halves and a 2-minute half-time. All games are officiated by top certified officials under NCAA rules.
Teams selected to attend Philly Freshman Showcase are by invitation only. This event will remain an elite showcase of top clubs in North America.
