Philly Charity Showdown

Leading the Fight

The biggest lacrosse weekend of the year kicks off Friday, Nov. 20 with the Philly Charity Showdown. NXT is incredibly excited to work with Thomas Jefferson University Hospital as all net proceeds from the evening benefit TJUH's Comprehensive Concussion Center.

The Philly Charity Showdown features six games that showcase the area's top talent. All-star teams from Pennsylvania and New Jersey square off in a seventh-grade game as well as an eighth-grade game to get the night started off right. Tryout dates are to be determined.

After that, it's time for the big boys to come out to play. Six nationally-touted clubs battle in three games, while two of the country's finest high school teams also do battle.

The 2013 Philly Charity Showdown, which was attended by nearly 100 NCAA coaches, marked the first lacrosse games to ever be played at a Major League Baseball stadium.

The Philly Charity Showdown is open to the public.
